So... been a while again!

What happened is, I switched Universities, but the new University didn't accept me; so I'm going to study on my own until I can enter.

I'm feeling very determined and I know I can do this!

Okay! It is 9:33 PM, in 4 hours and 30 minutes I am going to have my physics exams. University physics exam. Oh boy! I'm not worried about the exercises, I am about the theory part. Don't tell this to anyone else, but my Physics teacher is a fucking dumbass.

Tomorrow I have a Compsci exam. Not too big on having two exams back to back but I chose the dates that way sooo whatever.

What else? I've been drawing a lot lately. And I've made advancements in my writing skills too! Pretty happy with that.

This is a quickie, I'll see if I remember to update another time.

Take care!

Yeah.

I passed my exams! I am now an adult who is going to University. Oh Christ.

Man, I need to learn to be an adult. I don't feel like one yet. Maybe that's for the best?

I missed writing in this diary. Let's see if I can be a little more consistent.

I made a twitter account. I post art there sometimes!

See you as often as possible! Love you!

I thought I corrupted my Metroid 2 save file, but through the power of tech, I brought it back from the brink!!

I had a great chat with Ale 0u0 and some of her friends. Best person ever, I swear.

Also, Animal Crossing GC and New Leaf are great.

So.

I'm Italian, quarantined and sort of okay with it. School's much more tolerable now! :D

Unfortunately, my Grandpa passed away. I dreamt of him the night afterwards, and in the dream I had a wonderful chat with him, which made me okay with not grieving him anymore. So I'm all good!

(I could start posting about dreams. Hmm)

I've been playing Metroid and Sonic and drawing both.

FINALLY, I've started working on a Sonic fangame. About time!

I've restarted reading Unlimited Power so I can finally become the person I really want to be.

Might upload some Metroid reviews. I have a lot to say about those games.

Buh-bye!

I still need to finish the Amsterdam retrospective...

Whoops!

On my way to a Math test.

I'm in a very things-breaking vibe today, which is bad because we're also going to a museum.

Stay well, y'all!

It is 1:40 in the morning, and I feel like going to sleep. It is however fundamental that I jot down what happened for future reference.

I feel connected to the universe in a really weird and personal way.

We just finished playing Monopoly. I might be losing. I really don't know.

SCHOOL TRIP TO AMSTERDAM, PART THE THIRD: BEANIE GET!

We woke up at the same time (8 AM), I had a better and slightly lighter breakfast than the one I had yesterday, and we got ready and went to the Stedejlik museum. I had a great time there and I saw a ton of super interesting thing and I took a shitload of photos (I have to remember to do the questionnaire my Arts teacher gave me). mouchette.org is staying with me.

We had the afternoon and evening to ourselves, so we went to eat for lunch (me and El Paraguayo ate some sushi together), then with some friends we went to some souvenir shops where I bought a cool and warm new beanie and a pair of Duke Nukem-ish sunglasses. I totally look like a tool, but it's so funny I can't resist!

We dicked around, and El Paraguayo won 140€ in a casino. Wow!

We dicked around some more, and ate dinner. Over beers (not for me) and drawings (by me), the evening went on quickly (sort of- there still were a lot of low points).

Then we went back to the hotel, and since some of my friends were caught outside yesterday, my teachers somehow came to the conclusion that we wanted to run away from the hotel, so during the night, they'd do a random check to see if we were in our rooms. They found the three of us in our room, with me and Righteous Mac wearing sunglasses, which caught our teachers by surprise.

We played some more Monopoly, and now we're here!

Sort of a weird day, today. But I was in a really good mood, so that's great!

It's two in the morning and I can barely sleep in this casino no wait I absolutely can it's super quiet

Aight! See you tomorrow, and thank you for reading.

Love you☆

Here we are- same (almost) Weed-time, same Weed-channel, same... Weed-place. Weedman needs a weird 50's-style live-action adaptation.

My legs don't ache as much as they did yesterday. I am really happy about that! But come on, it is time foooor:

SCHOOL TRIP TO AMSTERDAM, PART THE SECOND: CHURROS ARE ACTUALLY SORT OF GOOD

Today we (as in, me, and my roommmates El Paraguayo and Righteous Mac) woke up between 7 and 7.30 AM, so we could get ready for breakfast (at 8). I put on some warmer clothes, we had breakfast, and at 8.30 (I think) we headed out. Until, I wanna say, 1 PM we traveled to and explored Amsterdam (including some familiar looking red light districts...). After that, we bid our guide farewell, and we had lunch... or, rather, uh, everyone else had lunch, because I felt very throwing up-y. It went away once I sat and drank, but it still didn't put me in the eating groove.

We headed to the Rijksmuseum, and we stayed there for a couple of hours- I could have enjoyed it more if I weren't so fffffreaking tired. We've been walking so much these days! Of course, seeing Rembrandt's art being remastered is special, but the best part was the "special pieces" of the collection, which was a cornucopia of variety. Made the visit worth it, in my opinion!

NEXT DAY EDIT: I completely forgot about this, but on the second floor of the museum, I came across two men, one dressed as a cowboy, one dressed as a Native American. I was completely and utterly terrifies after meeting both of them, and quickly fled downstairs.

We had some free time before returning to the hotel (between 4 and 5.30 PM), which we spent by visiting three casinos (my friend Ass Lord's idea), and being rejected from all three for being under eighteen. Ya-hoo!

We then returned to our hotel rooms, where me, Mac and El Paraguayo played Monopoly to our hearts' content. Nothing beats a good old Sonic 3K playthrough, honestly, but spending time with friends like this is über fun. :)

I think we went back to Amsterdam just to eat... oh, and you GOTTA hear this.

Okay, so, we went to a pub to eat. I got one of the tastiest burgers I've eaten, ever (I even ate the onions that came with it! Man, I really am growing up). Since I only drink water, I ordered that, but when the waitress arrived, and I told her the water was for me, she said "Here you go, big girl!" which legit made me laugh.

We stayed at this pub so some friends of mine could watch a soccer match. I don't know who won, but I sketched out a damn good Deadpool, so, most likely, I WON.

Then... we got back. And now I'm here. It's 00:36.

Though, I do want to sleep. I'm gonna do it now.

Mayyyyybe there's going ta be trouble with free time from tomorrow onwards, I'll let you know.

Loooove you☆

-Michele

PS. I wanna write some video game articles. I'll see what I can do when I get back home.

PPS. I'm gonna upload some sketches soon!

I tried like 5 minutes of gameplay at the last Milan Games' Week, and I want more. Now either I get a PS4 (tough luck) or I wait for, and get a PS5 (unlikely but possible).

Either way I can still rewatch Into The Spider-Verse. I LOOOOVE that movie!

Wuv you!!

Okay alright.
The current time is 23:38 and I am fucking destroyed. My heels are dust, my ankles are starting to collapse, and my knees are giving out. Luckily I am laying on a hotel bed I had to make myself. Phew!

So what could have caused this total eclipse of the feet? Follow me on this trip and you'll find out!!

SCHOOL TRIP TO AMSTERDAM, PART THE FIRST: WOWIE, WEED BROWIES SURE ARE EXPENSIVE

Today I woke up at 5 AM, got myself ready by 6 AM and got to the designated meeting point at 7 AM. We had to catch a plane by 11, so we had plenty of time as a safety net in case something went wrong.

What went wrong was that it was raining like the end of the world. A billion children were shedding their tears at Mach 4 after being brusquely told that their best friend called them a "poo-poo head".

The diarrhea of rain that came down also slowed down traffic to a crawl, which was bad, because we needed to get by bus to the airport.

Nevertheless, we got on the plane by 11:10 AM (they were late >:[ ) and I breezed through one of the most relaxing flights I've ever been on. I played a lot of Sonic music (1, 2, 3K, CD, Adventure 1, Knuckles Chaotix, both versions of 3D, Mania) and I drew a little bit.

A hour and a half later we landed in Amsterdam, and while it wasn't raining, it still was cold. Despite that, we pressed through, and we managed to find a McDonald's, where we ate (at around... 3 PM). I had a comically undersized hamburger, some fries with ketchup that vaguely tasted like McPuke, and some romantic drama from a couple of my friends I had no part in. McLovin' it!

From 3 PM to 7.30 PM a guide showed us around Amsterdam, and according to my good old friend El Paraguayo, we walked 12 kilometers, which is around 7.5 miles for y'all Americans. That's a bit too much!

[NEXT DAY EDIT: It was actually 23 kilometers (~15 miles). Holy cow!]

To go to and from the hotel we had to take the train, which is dope as hell and very relaxing. We had to make a 4 day pass through a very weird and confusing series of events, which involved money maths. I'll spare you the details.

Our teachers gave us a free evening, so we went to look for somewhere to eat. Many a friend went to coffee shops and got super fucking stoned, while we went to a pub to feed our starving stomachs. Everyone got a beer but me, because I still hate alcohol. I ate some toast and a hot chocolate. More and more friends joined in as we ate, and one of them (henceforth known as Sailor Kitty) was so high he started wildly rotating his jaw out of nowhere! Then yet another friend of mine (henceforth known as Dickhead "The Dastardly" Fuckboi) called a waitress a slut and she got really angry, so we had to leave. What a dumbass.

Since we had time to kill we went through the Red Light District, but I was really cold and I really needed to pee, so I did not enjoy myself at all. I suppose some of them were "hot" (most of them actually had cute faces) but... eeeehh. I'll pass.

Instead, how about the Duck Store? Hell yeah, ducks!

So now it's 00:17 AM and I'm laying in bed writing this whole big thing out, and I'm thinking about relationships.

I'd like something warm and cuddly and lovely some day. Find someone who I could easily call my soulmate and best friend and just love her. Or him! Or them!
Though, I feel I'm still not mature enough for a relationship. We'll see what the future brings (which I'm sure will be great!).

Stay tuned for part 2 tomorrow!

It's 00:22 AM, and I'm signing out.

LOVE YOOOOOOU☆

Like half of my friends are sooo baked. I'm not because alcohol is icky and drugs are bad.

(My friends being baked is kind of hilarious)

My hands are freezing but I just had a toast and hot chocolate so that's fine.

I'll probably write some more later. Got a lot of things I want to remember.

Love youuuuuuu!

Just finished building my HG Grendizer and like 80% of its accessories. It's a pretty great kit!! Highly recommended.

Love y'all!

Michele

21/10/19 EDIT

I'm in Amsterdam, but here's a pic of the finished Grendizer:

I'll review this Boi once I get back home.

After arriving in Geneva (not yet to visit the CERN, just to see the city itself and have dinner), we needed to find a parking spot. We, uh

We've been passing the same two prostitutes and four strip clubs for like 20 minutes, I must have seen a hundred and sixty-eight new ways to assemble a dildo and both the parking complexes we've found have found ways to lock us out.

My friend (henceforth known as Pedro Gamba, el Paraguayo) had our parents drive us here and his dad is totally freaking out and yelling and being angry (basically classic italian reaction -by el Paraguayo).

I'm also freaking out but in a different way. I think I'll remember this story with fond laughter.

Okay, no I won't. He's legit mad. Holy shit. This is insane.

Michele

PS. El Niño Paraguayo, who is el Paraguayo's little brother, is so fucking loud. My God, shut up!

EDIT: THANK GOD, WE FOUND A PARKING SPOT, I LOVE YOU UNIVERSE HOLY SHIET

My friend invited me to go with him in Switzerland, as today and tomorrow the CERN has some open days. Now I'm in France, in the hotel we'll be staying in, and my room is super fancy! It's tiny and adorable. When I'll be able to sustain myself economically, I think I'll gravitate towards this kind of room.

I’m listening to Jump Up, Super Star from Super Mario Odissey and goddamnit I’m crying again.
No, really. What a song.

Godspeed, you adorable, stout little plumber.

Michele

PS. I think I can do a decent Mario impression.

An iPad is still not ideal, but it’s better than nothing. And besides, my computer is off-limits, considering that in five minutes I am going to go to bed. (still, nothing beats a physical keyboard and mouse!!)

I suppose a decent introduction is in order, given the fact that my bio is kind of short:

Hello! My name is Michele. I am Italian, I turned eighteen like a month ago, and for about four years I’ve been studying at a horrible, horrible high school. This is my fifth year and I intend to give everything I’ve got, as I’m pretty tired of being labeled as “that guy with a smart face who isn’t smart”. It’s true that at the end of the day numerical marks don’t really mean anything, but I just want to show my classmates and teachers they’re wrong. I’m going to try my hardest and be the best in my class!

Nightmare schools aside, I truly do love a lot of things. Videogames, comics, anime, manga, music, books, movies, webcomics... and, uh, Gunpla. I could probably muster up the willpower to do some “top whatevers” of my favourite Things. Or impromptu reviews, I dunno. Life’s a mistery!

Skills-wise, I love drawing (I just got Clip Studio Paint Pro, and I’ve been working on a webcomic for a while), spriting, coding, making 3d models, writing (mostly design docs, though I do have some actual stories planned), learning about anything even tangentially related to my interests, and singing under the shower. I’m still working on that last one.

I have several fangames planned, some of which are Sonic-centric (it’s my favorite videogame franchise, after all) and one of which is Homestuck. I’ll finish each and every single one of them. Promise.

I could eat pizza at any time, for every meal. I’m not even sure I’m joking. It’s late and I’m tired.

I’m basically a very fluffy lamppost who has a lot of self-doubt and is very anxious but I will absolutely hug anyone, I swear.

Girls are cute. I like ‘em.

That should pretty much cover it! Hopefully.

A’ight, I’m going to bed. I’m going to wake up tomorrow and try to make tomorrow better than today (which is going to be hard, as I’ve been gifted a HOMESTUCK BOOK FROM A FRIEND, GRAZIE MILLE NICOLE) and be better than I was today. That’s how you should live life, in my opinion.

Buona notte!

Michele

Honestly I just wanted to make the first title of my first post on this journal this one. Writing in this position is painful. WHY AM I LYING DOWN

I’ll probably do a more decent introduction of Me later tonight.
